Dr Brad Hine
Chair
Brad brings more than 30 years’ of experience in the livestock and wool industries to his role as Chair of Fleece to Fashion Armidale.
A respected researcher and consultant, Brad has worked extensively across animal health, genetics, and management, with a strong focus on sheep and wool production.
His deep industry knowledge and commitment to innovation support Fleece to Fashion’s mission to showcase design talent, celebrate the global potential of Australian wool, and strengthen connections between producers and fashion.
Liz Foster
Board Member
Elizabeth (Liz) Foster brings her 43 years’ experience as managing director of The Australian Wool Fashion Awards. Her expertise in running Wool fashion events and connections within the wool and fashion industries is invaluable.
Liz and her husband were superfine woolgrowers until 2015 when youngest son took over the family property, but still living on the farm taking a keen interest in the Merino wool Industry.
Liz has been promoting wool fibre for over 43 years in managerial positions to bring together a unique collection of exemplary wool fashion for showing throughout the rest of the year to as many audiences as possible Australia wide.
Kate Stephen
Board Member
Kate is currently studying a Master of Psychology and hopes to practice locally in Armidale as she is passionate about improving the mental health of young people in the region.
Kate has lived in the New England for the majority of her life, and the Stephen family have had a long association with the wool industry.
Together with her husband David, Kate adores raising her young family in the New England and enjoys the benefits of living regionally.
Kate is passionate about making Fleece to Fashion the premier wool-based fashion event that encourages aspiring designers to use wool in innovative and sustainable ways.
Georgina Lamond
Board Member
Georgina is a solicitor at Moin Morris Schaefer Lawyers. Before transiting to law, Georgina began her career in advertising and brand strategy, where she honed her creative and strategic skills.
Georgina's valuable blend of commercial acumen and legal proficiency allows her to primarily advise commercial rural clients, including graziers and agribusiness organisations.
She is also passionate about promoting young, talented designers and highlighting the best of the New England region through this premier event.
