Fleece to Fashion releases Strategic Plan

Fleece to Fashion is proud to release it’s new Strategic Plan which communicates the organisation’s vision, values and future goals.

Fleece to Fashion (F2F) is proud to release its new Strategic Plan which communicates the organisation’s strategic intent and specific actions required to deliver on its key objectives.

Fleece to Fashion chairman Lachlan Fulloon of Cressbrook Merino Stud, Armidale, said the F2F board had invested considerable time to assess the strategic direction it wished to take the Awards and to ensure the organisation maintained its focus on continuous improvement and industry collaboration. 

“Strategic planning is very important in order to ensure our vision, values and purpose are clear, and to map the direction and measurable targets for the organisation going forward,” Lachlan said. 

“We will use this plan to guide our day-to-day operations but also to gauge our progress and approach to opportunities in the future. We are a unique organisation with a special role to play across the wool value chain, so its important that we are making the most impact we can for our stakeholders in the wool industry and in our local community.”

The F2F Strategic Plan’s vision and values are underpinned by four pillars the Board has identified as priority areas: Event Management, Financial Management, Community Management, and Industry Support. Measurable growth targets have been identified as well as aspirational initiatives that may assist F2F to make a broader impact across the agricultural, tourism, education and fashion industries. 

Lachlan says the F2F Board has adopted a heightened focus on strategic marketing in 2019 and will be focused on deeper collaboration with sponsors and supporters of the organisation to deliver on its Plan. 

“We are always looking at ways to add more value and improve our operations in order to remain relevant and be the best we can be. We look forward to implementing our Strategic Plan and to sharing our vision and goals with key constituencies in the weeks and months leading up to the Awards in July,” he said.

The Fleece to Fashion Strategic Plan is available on the organisation’s website and will be presented to key stakeholders in the coming months.
